Shiesha and Torrance first met playing hoops at their college. But after Torrance transferred, their relationship became long distance. This is when the strength of love overcomes all. That, and frequent flier miles. Shiesha wanted to incorporate an airplane in their engagement session, symbolizing their relationship over the last few years. These two are so stylish I can't wait for their wedding in a few weeks!

Torrance is such a teddy bear, you would never know he's a big mean bouncer! Look out Beyonce, here's Shiesha-Fierce!

I have a lot of great sessions to catch up on here on the blog. Wedding season is in full swing and I have a few engagement sessions to share, starting with the fabulously funny and sweet Bernice and Corey. They were referred to me by their friends whose wedding I'm shooting in September and it was so fun hearing them talk about the way they met at work. Let's just say third times the charm!

We had a fun morning just walking around their neighborhood {of course it helps that their home is surrounded by trails} and stopping by a local cafe. Their wedding is right around the corner at the Firestone Vineyard! Sooooo exciting!

I was so excited to photograph my intern Rachel's wedding recently. I loved having her around the office and was thrilled when she asked me to do the honors. After meeting Jonathan at our engagement session, I knew their wedding portraits would be gorgeous and that Rachel's style would make for great detail shots on the wedding day.

The whole wedding was almost completely DIY! Love it and the burlap details throughout...

Rachel's dad had on this red hat all morning. Apparently, when Rachel was born he got this hat. He walked down the isle with it then handed it over to Jonathan with his daughter's hand... talk about tears flowing...

Rachel and Jonathan put away time for us to do all those great bridal portraits at Strathern Historical Park. This was a great location for anyone looking for a country themed event!

And ya gotta love their get away...

What does a three mile hike with great clients get you? A glimpse into their relationship, a chance to see where he proposed, teepees and rattlesnakes, laughter and tenderness, and a beautiful 30 foot waterfall just outside of Los Angeles.

I really don't want to say too much about my shoot with Dani and Harrison. Their images and the way they look at each other speaks volumes. I'm just so grateful they found me so I could capture their summer wedding... I can't wait!
