How fun to wake up to an email saying one of your sessions was featured! The very cool Oceanside Bride picked up Doug and Andrea's day after session. You can see the full post here...
Another wedding tomorrow... I love my job. I can't wait for you to see the Firestone Vineyard wedding from last weekend plus a few family portraits , so look for those soon! Have a great weekend everyone!
Nothing can stop true love. Nothing. Not years of long distance dating with flight after flight. Not the loss of a loved one. Not traffic jams. Not loss of power. When the moment comes, it comes and nothing can stop the force of love that drives two people together.
Shiesha and Torrance thank you for letting me capture the beauty of the love between you two.
Torrance wore his fathers glasses in remembrance...
The rest of the evening was filled with beautiful speeches from family and friends alike... and of course a great party!
Thank you to these vendors for making their day even more special:

Perry and Devon met while working at the LA Times. Thank goodness they didn't take that "I don't date co-workers" saying seriously! Their careers eventually took them to New York where Perry proposed at the top of the Wonder Wheel in Coney Island, fireworks going off in the background and everything! The romance and fun loving energy really sum these two up.
Devon and Perry decided to come back to California for a destination wedding in San Diego. They hired me over the phone so I didn't get to met them until the day of their wedding. We clicked right away and started off running with some sexy photos before she got dressed. Sorry, those aren't here but wait until you get an eyeful of the fun steamboat they got married on!
It was only fitting that their wedding would include fireworks...
Thank you to all the amazing vendors that made their day special:
Venue: Bahia Resort/Sternwheelers
Flowers: Katherine Farley
DJ: The Pros
Hair & Makeup: Glam on the Run
Porcupine & Blowfish Magnets: Gnome Enterprises

Harrison was already part of Dani's family. Sort of. He was Dani's brothers' best friend and was always around. Little did they know in the beginning that over the years love would take hold of them and not let go. The connection these two have is so strong. (Did you see their engagement session?) Harrison also included Dani's whole family in his proposal... how do you not fall in love with a guy like that?
Dani and Harrison, thank you so much for allowing me to capture the love between you two and the first hours of being Mr and Mrs.
I love when my couples opt to see each other before the wedding. Having this first look not only allows for more relaxed portrait time, it allows the two of you to have a private, loving moment together that you will always cherish. For any of you nay-sayers out there who think that having the first look isn't worth it, I think these images may change your mind...
I just love Dani's classic beauty...
Ummm, yea, she was lookin' at her man! Make sure to call me guys!
Big thanks to all the wonderful vendors that made this happen for Dani and Harrison:
Dress: David's Bridal
Cake/Cupcakes: Whisk Me Away
Mini Pies: Simple Things
Flowers: Petals by Xavi
DJ and Photo Booth: J & M Entertainment
Fiddle Group: The Silver Mountain String Band
