You know when you see a handmade wedding invitation like this that you want to be part of their special day. Natalie and Aidan were actually married last June in San Diego, when he returned after his Air Force deployment. They held their reception recently at The Grove's Maggiano's, bringing all their family and friends together to meet, mingle, and celebrate the love between these two.
A few more pages from this amazing invitation that Aidan created..

I thought this cherry blossom cake by Portos Bakery was just perfect...

Love birds... that's what Nicole and Jessica's friends call them. After eight years, they still steal kisses and sweet glances at each other. After eight years, they are still mad for each other. After eight years, they bound their love together on a hilltop above Los Angeles as the sun set.

I was thrilled to learn yesterday that I have received the 2012 Editors Choice Award from Two Bright Lights, an industry powerhouse. Is this where I give my speech? I'd like to thank all the great clients I've had who helped make this possible! No really, I would. I must say, it's nice to be recognized amoung my peers.
Off to shot a wedding today and a Mitzvah tomorrow. Hope everyone's weekend is fabulous!
Me Says:
Congrats!! Hopefully, one day we'll get to do a photo shoot with you!

I love when my clients say they hate having their photos taken then show up smoking' hot and up for anything! Meghan and Brandon are getting married up North this summer but they came down last week for an engagement session with me. I can't wait to see how amazing these two will look on their wedding day!

Carrissa and Brent had a beautiful winter themed wedding recently at the Moorpark Country Club. Carrissa was a trooper when the forecast showed heavy rain, casually moving it all inside and not thinking twice about it. The only thing that mattered was Brent and he was all smiles waiting for his beautiful bride to meet him at the alter.
It was a privilege shooting their wedding as I had just photographed her sister Nicole's wedding this past summer. All their family and friends made me feel like one of their own the whole day. It looks like it may be another ten years before their baby sister is ready but I'm a patient girl and will settle for photographing some babies in-between. ;-)

Hello! You wouldn't believe me if I told you Brent hates having his picture taken. He is handsome AND a ham!

Of course, as luck would have it, it didn't rain until the end of the evening. Instead we got some typical sunny California skies for the first look...

As a parent I'm such a sucker for the parent dances, especially the mother-son dance...
