Efrem Bergman Says:

I loved all the finalists. Every one had so much creativity behind them thanks to Karen. My personal favorite has to be Whithey and Rick just because of the spontaneous location and vibe it has.. All the others, I felt, also have such special treatments to them as well. Great work!

I've never been a girly-girl.  I've always preferred jean's over dresses and bare feet over heels. But I'm not all Tom-boy.  I love my teal colored Juicy Couture purse, some fun jewelry, and I adore the flower hair pieces that are in style right now, especially among brides and the oversized ones for newborns. (Much cuter then the gift-wrapping bow my mom used to stick on my bald head so people knew I was a girl!)

I'm so excited to offer my readers some of these gorgeous hairpieces as giveaways in the coming months.  Many of you may remember Sandra, one of my beautiful May brides.  After her wedding, I sent her hair piece vendor, Ola from Olas Dream World some photos and to my delight, Ola offered to send me a bunch of pieces to giveaway!

I thought I'd start with one that resembles what Sandra wore for her wedding. (I'll do a little girl one next time.)

This white hair fastener is like a billowy cloud in your hair, made from pure silk chiffon, lace and feathers.  Here is the one Sandra wore...

To enter the giveaway, head on over to Ola's Dream World's Etsy shop, look around and leave a comment here about your favorite piece. To enter a second time, friend me on Facebook.  (Already a fan?  Just let me know that in the second comment.) Deadline for this giveaway is Sunday, November 7.

*Please note, if you are one of my up and coming brides and have interest in some of these hair pieces for your wedding, please contact me directly and we'll see if one of the ones I have works for you.  Clients, that are scheduled for portraits with their newborn or young daughters, please contact me as well if you'd like one of the non-wedding ones for our photo shoot.

For those of you waiting patiently to see who won the jewelry giveaway, sorry for the delay.  My daughter started fifth grade today. Her last year at elementary school and I think it kinda freaked me out this morning.  My baby, my last kid, marching right into her new class with barely a wave.  So what did I do?  I came home and started furiously cleaning my house so I didn't have to think about it.  I'm better now. I can see why people turn to wine!  lol  After some busy work and a few deep breaths (and a client dropping in) I'm back on track!

I'm going to try to do giveaways more often and I already have one for next month so make sure to stop on by soon to check it out. Okay... so the winner for the fan-tabulous (yes, I make up my own words) Tina Steinberg personalized bracelet is.... drum roll please...

Emma: well, I checked out the web site and OMG Tina Steinberg is amazing!!! I saw she is even "connected" with some up and comers in hollywood. That should get the word out pretty fast! In the mean time, Her love touch fingerprint collection is unique and precious while the spirit collection is inspiring and whimsical, but my absolute favorite is the luscious locket collection and in particular the circle of love. It has just the right touch of elegance and tenderness. The lovers names look as if they are effortlessly floating in eternal etherialness (is that a word?) anyway, it brings a touching tear to my eye. just stunning. I think it would be particularly beautiful with the lite box link chain to give it that little vintage look. Good work. I want one!

Yea Emma!  Make sure to contact me so I can get you Tina's info.  Everyone else, thanks for stopping by.

And here's my baby girl, all grown up with her Twilight keychain on her backpack! (She's Team Taylor, by the way.) And yes she wore shoes.  I just pulled her out of the house for photos before she could get on her black Converse sneakers.
