We love Halloween over here and we always make fun treats. I had a wave of sadness yesterday when I realized that this was the last time to make treats for my daughter's elementary school She's my youngest and they just do much stuff like this in middle school. Peanut Butter Eyeballs are our usual treat and all the moms.. I mean kids.... ask for them every year. This year my daughter and I also tried our hand at some skeleton cupcakes. I can't remember what magazine these are from (I borrowed it from my friend Deb - thanks Deb!) but they turned out pretty cute.

We started with putting marshmallows on lollipop sticks and painted on skeleton faces with a black frosting pen.

I love making my cakes and frosting from scratch but when there isn't any time I have no problem buying things in a box! We went with a white cake and vanilla frosting to keep everything white.

And last but not least, we stacked three yogurt covered pretzels, slid in the skeleton bodies and added pretzel arms. How cute are these???

Here are the peanut butter eyeballs we do as well...

Happy Halloween!
