I treated the Firefighter to U2 tickets for his birthday in April and we finally got to see them last night at the Rose Bowl.  What a spectacular event. 96,000 people.  They say it was the biggest event there ever, but the historians have forgotten Peace Sunday, which I was also at way back in 1982.  Here's a photo of that one:

We got there early and had a picnic on the grass, people watched, walked around... it was a beautiful day capped off by a great Black Eyed Peas set, then U2 for about three hours, I think.  The set was amazing.  If you haven't seen this in the news, or watched the YouTube live stream, you need to head over there how to check it out.
