(10.08.09 - 06:54 PM)I enjoy looking through the pictures taken by Karen Ard. She has a way of connecting with the people whose photos she is taking. I have seen many photographers' collections, but Karen has perfected the skill of making the subject stand out in the picture and the background stays in the background. Looking at her photos, one can easily see that a connection has been made between Karen and those she photographs. I can certainly understand why she would have to limit the number of events she photographs in a given year. She puts so much of herself into each set of pictures. Karen is truly a gifted photographer.
