I think it is perfect that the first post on my new blog is of my childhood friend Gayle and her fun family. When I was thirteen my family moved to a new house and to my joy and amazement, the girl next door was only three weeks older then me. We became inseparable! Now, "x" amount of years later (don't worry Gayle I won't tell) here I am photographing her and all the men in her life on a beautiful day in Malibu!
I love her family. They kid around with each other so much, you can just tell there is so much love here! When we got to the location and saw it was high tide - no, super-duper high tide - they didn't care and just started climbing on pylons under the pier! You gotta love that!

I love this one of DJ. I have been wanting to apply some painting techniques to my photos for awhile and I think it turned out pretty cool.
So Max is an awesome drummer, which is pretty cool since Gayle used to play drums too! He already looks like a rockstar! We did a whole series of photos with his drum sticks and I had a hard time narrowing it down to just these.
We got some great headshots of DJ for his upcoming Bar Mitzvah too.
