On a beautiful spring morning Amber got ready to marry her best friend. While Jaymar got ready with his buddies at a nearby hotel, Amber and her girlfriends prepared for their wedding in the house that Jaymar proposed to her in.

Surrounded by family and the group of friends that brought them together in the first place, Amber and Jaymar got married at St. Bernadine's during a beautiful afternoon service. The celebration continued at the Westlake Village Inn, where it felt less like a wedding reception and more like a huge party with all the people they love. Congrats you guys!

I love when Temples allow me to shoot Bar Mitzvah services. I love capturing these moments for my clients. Temple Sinai of Glendale has such pretty stain glass, which made for a great backdrop to Matthew's Bar Mitzvah.

These sisters seem so close, you'd think they were triplets! But big sis is holding off a bit on her Mitzvah until her twin sisters are ready early next year and they will do their B'Nai Mitzvah together.

As always, I love doing these early portrait sessions for the web sites or sign in books I make because I really get to know these kids and have fun with them. And sometimes their parents and dog too!

I knew Solomon's Beverly Hills Bar Mitzvah would be fun and full of love because of this tight knit family. Solly did wonderful at Temple Isaiah during his service and gave a great speech at the end as well. We headed over to the Beverly Hills Country Club that evening for a movie themed party that was packed!

Once the guests walked in on the red carpet and had their photo taken, they grabbed their table card, which was attached to a movie size box of candy. Solomon's mom did such a great job pulling this all together and I loved the table centerpieces: vintage soda boxes full of unique sodas, candy and popcorn for the guests to take home. Great job everyone!
